I'm B I G time!

Check out my latest fun addition to my artistic resume - a billboard!

The City of Everett purchased this painting for the marketing of their 2008 Sorticulture event. I was so excited when I saw it as a billboard in Bellingham, WA (looking southbound on Meridian just North of Van Wyck). Look for my art to be billboard size in Seattle, Tacoma, and Everett too! They also hired me to create the art for their 4th of July Celebration, and my painterly rendition of a fireworks display should be seen around Everett on billboards and buses too later next month.

It sounds like a great event too - so check it out! SORTICULTURE

Adventures Northwest and Ski to Sea

Look for my art in the Summer 2008 issue of Adventures Northwest magazine where I have this tribute to the Ski to Sea event in Bellingham, WA. Limited Edition prints of this collage will be available at the "It All Ends in Fairhaven" event. What else makes this issue special? My husband also has an article in the same magazine this issue! Two Lommers to see!

Come to Bellingham for the Ski to Sea, and I hope to see you there!

Too busy to blog?!

Yes, it's true. I can't complain, but I had quite the working spree for the last couple weeks - finishing up the mural for the "Art in a Pickle Barn" event, going to weekend shows, preparing artwork for gallery placements, finishing commission work, and filling card and print orders. So yes, I actually stopped blogging for a bit! It felt so odd, not to put my activities, thoughts, and irrelevant ponderings out there for all to eyeball, but there you have it. I'm all caught up and taking a few days off to catch up on the housework and gardening. Watch out, as I'm sure to get back into the swing of things shortly, and updating semi-daily again. In the meantime, be sure to check out my next artistic event HERE!

Happy Blogging Everyone!
